The story of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum begins over 270 years ago in a unique,
mystical place known as Nassau Valley. This place is characterized by a rare
karstic landscape with cone-shaped limestone formations, caves and underground
water springs. The special terrain acts as a natural filter for the rain,
producing crystal clear water and giving the sugar cane plants in this valley

Appleton Estate is deeply rooted in Jamaican tradition, with the special spirit

whiskies originates. Joy Spence, who is celebrating her 40th anniversary at
Appleton, is responsible for the production of the Appleton Estate 15 Years Old
BLACK RIVER Casks Single Estate Jamaica Rum. This rum is a blend of pot and
column still rums aged for 15 years.
