terriers, Black & White. It is one of the most popular and well-known Scotch
Whiskies with a very long history. Because the brand Black & White Whisky was
brought into being almost 200 years ago. This was done by the company Buchanan &
Co Ltd, which was founded by James Buchanan. Therefore the Black & White Scotch
was initially marketed as "The Buchanan Blend" and later renamed "House of
Commons". Because his customers always ordered only the "Black & White" because
of the black and white label, the whisky was also called "The Buchanan Blend"
from then on. Also the idea for the famous terriers, a black Scottish Terrier
and a white West Highland White Terrier, still came from the founder himself.
