Grappa is one of the oldest and most traditional drinks in Italy. It is a grape
marc spirit made from the residue of previously pressed grapes.

Bottega Alexander Exquisite Premium Grappa Riserva is made exclusively from
fresh, carefully selected grape marc from the Verona region. Its exceptional
smoothness and exquisite taste are the result of triple distillation in
traditional copper alembics using the bain-marie process to preserve the fine
aromas. This grappa is aged for 18 months in oak barrels produced using
traditional methods. The oak is first dried in the open air for 24 months before
the staves are cut and assembled. The barrels are then intensively toasted,
which gives the grappa its wonderful amber color.
