Casa D'Aristi Distillery was founded in 1935 by the Aristi family and is located
on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. It specializes in the production of artisanal
spirits that uphold the traditions of the Mayan culture.
Casa D'Aristi products are made from 100% natural and regional quality products.
The production process takes place mainly in a historic hacienda and is done by
hand.
"Creeper growing on the rock" or "splendor of the morning" means the word
Xtabentun. Already in former times the rum refined with honey was produced by
the Mayas.
The intoxicating sensation of the Xtabentun flower is caused by the psychotropic
substances in the seed, which can lead to euphoria and drowsiness.
With its anise flavor, the liqueur makes a great contrast to the well-seasoned
cuisine from Yucatan, making it the perfect aperitif.
Awards:
- SILVER MEDAL at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition 2015.
- Best in Class at the Spirits of Mexico 2014
- Recommended Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2015
