La Casa Dragones has existed since 1671 and was originally the stables of the
legendary Dragones cavalry. Today, many tequila tastings are held in these
historic stables. Casa Dragones was inspired by Dragones of San Miguel de
Allende. This elite cavalry defended the interests of the Spanish Queen and
subsequently led the Mexican Independence of 1810. Mexican independence is still
part of Casa Dragones today - the number "16" is enshrined on the labels and
engraving on the bottom of the bottles.
The elegant colonial town of San Miguel de Allende has been declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
Casa Dragones Tequila BLANCO is created through a modern and sustainable
process. The water used is an exceptionally pure, natural spring water with a
perfect balance of minerals.
