Champagne Lanson, founded in 1760, is the fourth oldest champagne house and the
oldest that is still family-owned. Lanson champagnes are characterized by their
distinctive style, which combines freshness, fruitiness and complexity. All of
the brand's champagnes are vegan and are produced according to the principles of
sustainable viticulture, which has established Lanson as a pioneer in the
industry.

Lanson Black Label owes its name to Victor Lanson, who created this champagne as
a tribute to the English royal court, which Lanson has officially supplied since
1900. The color black, a symbol of elegance, was deliberately chosen to reflect
the predominance of Pinot Noir grapes, which give this champagne its vitality
and finesse. Lanson Black Label is made from a harmonious blend of 50% Pinot
Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, which gives it its balanced
structure and complexity.



The grapes for this champagne are selected from over 100 crus, half of which are
Grand and Premier Crus, which guarantees the highest quality. To preserve the
unique style and aromatic intensity, Lanson uses 30 to 40% reserve wines, some
of which are more than 20 years old. The exceptional complexity of Lanson Black
Label is the result of at least four years of ageing in the historic cellars of
the house, which gives it its unmistakable character.
