The Dictador Icon Reserve with 12 years is distilled from the fermentation of
native "Suger Cane Honey", so the honey-like sugar cane syrup, which is unlike
molasses an essence from the fresh sugar cane juice. Distillation takes place
partly in copper alembics and partly in steel tanks. The process of collone
distillation is used here. Thus, a medium rum body is achieved, which is
pleasantly aromatic. The maturation takes place in American oak barrels. To
ensure that all the secrets remain contained in the liquid aroma, the bottles
are then bottled under the highest quality control. Unlike many other "main
stream rums" today, Dictador rum is not sweetened. Nevertheless, it has a
slightly natural sweetness, which therefore has a particularly harmonious
effect.
