The Dictador Icon Reserve, aged 12 years, is distilled from the fermentation of
native "Suger Cane Honey", i.e. the honey-like sugar cane syrup, which, unlike
molasses, is an essence of fresh sugar cane juice. The distillation takes place
partly in copper alembics and partly in steel tanks. The column distillation
process is used here.

This results in a medium rum body that has a pleasant aromatic effect. The rum
is matured in American oak barrels. To ensure that all the secrets are retained
in the liquid aroma, the bottles are then filled under the highest quality
control.

Unlike many other "mainstream rums" today, Dictador rum is not sweetened.
Nevertheless, it has a slightly natural sweetness that is therefore particularly
harmonious.
