Don Papa, one of the lesser-known heroes of the Philippine revolution. As a
foreman on a sugar cane plantation, he joined the fight for his country's
independence. He became the leader of his countrymen in the expulsion of the
conquerors from his beloved land.

Don Papa comes from the island of Negros in the Philippine archipelago. This
exceptional spirit honors the heroes of the revolution. It is refined from
high-quality sugar cane, which grows on extremely fertile volcanic soil.



Masskara was inspired by the fanatastic Masskara Festival in Manila. It was
distilled with calamansi - the Filipino calamondino orange - to bring out
distinctive citrus notes. Honey was added to sweeten the senses and Siling
Labuyo for a touch of warmth and spice.
