The Douglas Laing Old Particular Girvan 16 Years Old 2008 is an exclusive single
grain bottling from Douglas Laing's renowned Old Particular series, which is
characterized by exceptional single cask bottlings. Produced at the Girvan
Distillery, one of Scotland's best-known grain distilleries, this whisky has
been matured for a remarkable 16 years and bottled at 48.4% vol.
This single grain whisky has been matured in a carefully selected refill
hogshead cask, giving it a perfect balance of sweet, fruity and spicy notes. The
long maturation gives it an elegant smoothness, while the natural grain notes
and cask influences offer harmonious depth and complexity.
Like all bottlings in the Old Particular series, this whisky has not been
chill-filtered and has been bottled without colorants in order to preserve its
natural authenticity and full range of aromas.
