Bracklas was the first Scottish distillery to be granted "royal" status. This
honor was bestowed on the distillery in 1833 by King William IV. In 2015, three
new Royal Brackla single malts were launched on the market. These are considered
to be part of the last great malts from John Dewar & Sons.
The Royal Brackla 12 Years Old is part of the Old Particular series and matures
for 12 years in a Virgin Oak Hogshead with the cask number DL15434. It is
bottled without coloring and chill-filtration.
