The Edradour distillery, known for its characterful and intensely peated malts,
has created a series with the "Ballechin" that appeals to lovers of smoky
whiskies.

In 2024, the renowned distillery presented a special single malt from this
series on the occasion of the Halloween celebrations, which bears the apt name
"Trick or Peat". This whisky is 13 years old and, according to the distillery,
was matured in selected bourbon casks from 2010 to 2024. Bottled with an alcohol
content of 46.6%, the "Trick or Peat" is characterized by its natural color, as
no colorants were used. In addition, chill filtration was omitted in order to
preserve the full aroma.

The special edition, limited to 666 bottles, is aimed specifically at collectors
and connoisseurs.
