Production takes place in the renowned vineyards of the Douro Valley in
Portugal, considered one of the oldest and most prestigious wine regions in the
world. The unique terroir is characterized by steep slopes and mineral-rich
soils, which shape the taste of the port wines.

Fonseca Porto 10 Year Old Tawny Port is the result of ten years of ageing in oak
barrels and combines the essence of traditional port winemaking. It is made from
classic grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz,
Tinta Barroca and Tinta Amarela, which are renowned for their quality and
expressiveness.



Due to the long ageing in barrels, the port wine develops a complex aroma and a
balanced structure, which gives it its characteristic smoothness and elegance.
