The Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rose Art Edition is more than just a wine; it
embodies the essence of the Mediterranean lifestyle and the combination of art
and viticulture. This special edition was created in collaboration between Emma
Bertrand and the talented Australian artist Morgan Jamieson, whose vibrant
artwork adorns the bottle design. The bottle itself features a unique base in
the shape of a rose, created by a young designer from Ecole Boulle, making it a
real eye-catcher.
This elegant rose wine comes from the Languedoc region in the south of France
and is made from the Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grape varieties. The grapes
are carefully selected and harvested separately to ensure optimum ripeness.
After a short maceration to extract the desired color, alcoholic fermentation
takes place under controlled temperatures to develop maximum aromas. Part of the
wine is aged in oak barrels to achieve additional complexity. Once it has
matured, it is bottled and sealed with a glass cork.
Gerard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rose Art Edition is not only a pleasure for the
palate, but also an aesthetic experience that combines art and wine in perfect
harmony.
