The Glencadam Distillery, founded in 1825, is one of the few distilleries still
active on the east coast of the Eastern Highlands. This limited edition bottling
from Glencadam comprises just 1600 bottles and offers the rare opportunity to
enjoy a single malt whisky that has been matured for 25 years.
After the whisky was primarily used for the Ballantines brand blends from 1954
by the then owner Hiram Walker, the current owner Angus Dundee, who also runs
the Tomintoul Distillery, has made another use possible. Under his management,
part of the Glencadam whisky is bottled as a single malt, which makes it
possible to enjoy single malts of different ages and maturation processes.
This 25-year-old bottling represents the rich tradition and craftsmanship of
Glencadam and offers a unique taste experience that both connoisseurs and
collectors will appreciate.
Limited to 944 bottles worldwide.
