distilleries in the whole of Scotland. Glencadam uses traditional methods and
copper stills to produce the whiskey. As a rule, the whiskeys produced are
unpeated, so that the natural flavors of the malt can develop.
The Glencadam Reserva de Jerez was launched by Glencadam Distillery, in limited
edition. This whiskey was specially created by Mater Distiller Robert Fleming
and consists of selected whiskeys from 2007. The maturation begins in American
ex-bourbon oak casks and is then completed in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez.
In total, the whiskey matures for 15 years before it is finally bottled and
offered for sale. Glencadam Reserva de Jerez is the latest in a series of
limited cask bottlings from Glencadam.
The limitation is limited to 9,420 bottles.
