The Glencadam distillery, founded in 1825 by George Cooper in the Scottish town
of Angus, draws its water from the Barry Burn. After the sale to Angus Dundee
Plc. in 2003, the distillery expanded its portfolio from a 15-year-old whisky to
a complete product line by 2009.

The Glencadam Riserva di Amarone is a premium Highland single malt Scotch whisky
that develops remarkable depth and fruity intensity through its final maturation
in Amarone wine casks from Italy. This Small Batch Edition demonstrates
Glencadam's mastery of creating complex whiskies. After an initial maturation in
ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, the single malts are carefully blended
and finished in Amarone wine casks.



This special maturation gives the whisky its characteristic fruitiness and
depth. With an alcohol content of 46% vol., the whisky is bottled in its natural
color and without chill filtration to preserve its full aromas and smooth
texture.
