The Glenmorangie distillery, founded in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands near
Tain, is famous for its exquisite single malt Scotch whiskies. These are
distilled in the highest stills in Scotland, resulting in a particularly fine
and mild distillate. Glenmorangie is known for its innovative cask finishing
technique, which matures whiskies in different types of casks such as port,

The Glenmorangie Nectar's journey begins in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in
exquisite white wine casks from France, Spain and Hungary. The Sauternes and
Montbazillac casks impart rich pastry and baked apple notes, while the Moscatel
casks add sweet, syrupy dessert flavors. The Tokaji barrels round off the
profile with nuances of white chocolate, almonds and honeycomb.
