The Glenmorangie Distillery, also known as the "Distillers of Tain", has been in
existence for more than 175 years. The Highland whisky makers swear by five key
ingredients - wood, water, barley, yeast and time - to create outstanding
whiskies. The distillery has the tallest stills in Scotland, which are used to
produce the malts. Dr. Bill Lumsden, the Director of Whisky Creation, has taken
over the management of the distillery.

Glenmorangie The Tarlogan is part of the Legend series, which was specially
developed for the travel retail market. The name "Tarlogan" is derived from a
spiky king.



This whisky undergoes a two-stage maturation process: it begins in ex-bourbon
casks and is then matured in virgin oak casks, a practice rarely used by
Glenmorangie. This combination of maturation gives the Glenmorangie Tarlogan a
remarkable aroma.
