The Gratien & Meyer Cremant de Loire Brut-Rose is an elegant, fine and extremely
stylish French sparkling rose wine from the traditional house of Gratien & Meyer
in Saumur. Since its foundation in 1864, Gratien & Meyer has been synonymous
with first-class cremants, characterized by excellent craftsmanship, traditional
bottle fermentation and the unmistakable terroir of the Loire Valley. As one of
France's leading cremant producers, Gratien & Meyer knows how to harmoniously
combine tradition and modernity.
This fine rose cremant is made mainly from the Cabernet Franc grape variety
(15%), which is characteristic of the Loire Valley, supplemented by 40%
Chardonnay, 40% Grollau and 5% Chenin grapes. The hand-picked grapes are gently
pressed and then processed using the traditional method of bottle fermentation,
resulting in the fine bubbles and charming elegance of this rose cremant.
