The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the renowned wine-growing region of Andau,
in the immediate vicinity of Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau
is one of the sunniest regions in Austria and offers ideal conditions for
viticulture. Hannes Reeh himself has been responsible for the vinification of
his wines since 2007. His tireless determination is evident in every single one
of his wines, which reflect the unique character of the region.

The term "unplugged" is used in music to describe playing without amplification
- simple, pure and authentic. For Hannes Reeh, however, "unplugged" stands for
wines that reflect the natural purity of the Andau region. No artificial
interventions such as additional yeasts, enzymes or fining agents are used in
the production of these wines. Particularly in vintages of exceptional quality,
the wines are even bottled without filtration in order to preserve their pure
nature.



Hannes Reeh Chardonnay Unplugged is a single-varietal Chardonnay whose vines are
between 15 and 20 years old. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in
stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in barriques, which gives it a special
complexity and structure. After ageing, the white wine is bottled with a screw
cap. It has an impressive ageing potential that will keep it ready to enjoy
until 2030.
