The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the renowned wine-growing region of Andau,
in the immediate vicinity of Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau
is one of the sunniest regions in Austria and offers ideal conditions for
viticulture. Hannes Reeh himself has been responsible for the vinification of
his wines since 2007. His tireless determination is evident in every single one
of his wines, which reflect the unique character of the region.

The term "unplugged" is used in music to describe playing without amplification
- simple, pure and authentic. For Hannes Reeh, however, "unplugged" stands for
wines that reflect the natural purity of the Andau region. No artificial
interventions such as additional yeasts, enzymes or fining agents are used in
the production of these wines. Particularly in vintages of exceptional quality,
the wines are even bottled without filtration in order to preserve their pure
nature.



The Zweigelt Unplugged grapes thrive on gravel soil and are vinified with the
utmost care. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a maceration period
of 6 weeks, 100% of the wine is matured in new barriques for 11 months in large
wooden barrels. After this maturation, the wine is bottled and sealed with a
natural cork.



The Zweigelt Unplugged has a storage potential until 2034, during which it can
develop its aromas perfectly.
