The Heinrich winery is located in Gols in Burgenland. It is run by Gernot and
Heike Heinrich. A great wine can only be produced if the vines feel at home. The
family's vineyards are located in Purbach, Breitenbrunn, Winden, Jois, Neusiedl
am See, Weiden, Gold, Moenchhof and Podersdorf. The numerous hours of sunshine
around Lake Neusiedl allow the grapes to develop fully and reflect this
intensity in the taste. This Heinrich is produced using spontaneous
fermentation. It is then left on the skins in steel tanks for two weeks. This is
followed by 3 years of maturation in 500-liter barrels and wooden fermentation
racks.
