The Hennessy distillery is based in Cognac, France. The company was founded in
1765 by Richard Hennessy and is now run by the eighth generation. The officer
emigrated from Ireland to Cognac and founded the company "Jas Hennessy & Co" at
that time. The cognac of Richard Hennessy quickly gained a high reputation and
became known worldwide.For the production the own grown grapes from the region
of Cognac are used. After double distillation in copper stills, pure eaux-de-vie
is produced, which serves as the basis for the cognacs.



This bottling was launched in 2015, on the 250th anniversary of the House of
Hennessys, to pay homage to James Hennessy, the eldest son, Richard Hennessys.

James Hennessy is a true adventurer and constantly tries to expand his horizons
by travelling.

To give this blend an additional new touch, a collaboration with the
international designer Marc Newson was entered.
