The Herradura Ultra Cristalino tequila is based on the classic Herradura Anejo
tequila. This Anejo tequila is carefully combined with high-quality Extra Anejo
from Herradura, which has been matured for up to 49 months in American white oak
barrels.

A delicate addition of sweet agave nectar refines the flavor profile before the
blend is passed through a filtration process to achieve the characteristic clear
and transparent color.

The unique production method, which removes the color from the distillate, is
commonly known as "Cristalino" or "crystal tequila", although this term is not
yet officially assigned to any category.
