Taiwan, bottled at cask strength with a powerful 56.3% alcohol by volume.
Presented in a high-quality 0.7-liter bottle including a gift box, this bottling
is part of the Kavalan Distillery's exclusive Solist range, which stands for
uncompromising quality, single cask bottlings and natural strength -
unchill-filtered and uncolored.
Matured in selected American first-fill bourbon casks, this whisky perfectly
showcases Taiwan's tropical maturing conditions. The warm, humid environment
accelerates the cask interaction and ensures a particularly multi-layered,
intense aroma profile with notes of vanilla, coconut, honey, white chocolate and
oak. Despite the high alcohol strength, the whisky remains surprisingly round
and accessible.
The Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon is a single cask whisky, with each bottle bearing
the signature of the respective cask - a real collector's item and an expression
of Asian whisky art at the highest level.
