La Hechicera comes from the Spanish and means "The Enchantress". This rum
reflects the seductively beautiful nature of Colombia, the biodiversity of the
Caribbean, the magnificent landscape and the irresistible charm of a nation.
Giraldo Mituoka began his career harvesting sugar cane during the Cuban
Revolution. By chance, Mituoka made it to the shores of Colombia, where he
eventually began to perfect his craft.



For the second bottling of the Experimental series, the harvested bananas, grown
by the third generation of the Riascos family, are steeped in already aged La
Hechicera rum.
