Founded in 2003 by Louis-Pierre Laroche, Laroche - The Taste of France, based in
the picturesque wine region of Chablis in Burgundy, has established itself as an
expert in the selection, import and distribution of first-class French wines,
spirits and food. Originally, the focus was on wines from small and medium-sized
family wineries that impress with their authenticity and quality. In 2005, the
company expanded its range to include the prestigious Grands Crus Classes from
Bordeaux, which are renowned worldwide for their excellence.
The Laroche Petit Chablis is a single-varietal Chardonnay whose grapes thrive on
limestone and clay soils, giving the wine its characteristic minerality.
Malolactic fermentation took place over a period of 12 days at controlled
temperatures of 12 to 15 °C in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matured for
4 to 6 months, also in stainless steel tanks, which preserved its fresh and
clear structure. After maturation, the wine is bottled and sealed with a screw
cap.
With a maturation potential until 2026, the Laroche Petit Chablis offers an
excellent taste experience not only now, but also in the years to come.
