The President of Ornellaia, Marquis Ferdinando Frescobaldi, and the CEO Giovanni
Geddes da Filicaja, who has held this position since 1999, manage the winery
with precision and dedication. Four decades after its foundation, the name
Ornellaia stands for the Italian way of life worldwide and symbolizes an

Le Volte dell' Ornellaia is characterized by its instant pleasantness,
versatility and light-heartedness, symbolizing the joy and conviviality that can
be experienced with every glass. With a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44%
Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, this wine offers an accessible way to experience the
dedication and passion for quality.



The careful processing of the grapes begins with a separate fermentation in
small steel tanks to preserve the characteristics of each grape variety. After
alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation is also carried out in steel
tanks. The wine is aged for ten months, partly in barriques already used for
Ornellaia wines and partly in cement tanks. This process promotes an ideal
balance between the tannin structure and the expression of the fruit, making Le
Volte dell' Ornellaia an excellently balanced wine.
