An excellent rose champagne can only be made from optimally ripened grapes,
which is often a challenge in the cool conditions of Champagne. To meet this
requirement, Louis Roederer cultivates its grapes in Cumieres, where the
clay-limestone soil and steep slope provide ideal growing conditions. The
vineyards are completely south-facing and the reflected sunlight from the Marne
contributes to the high phenolic ripeness of the grapes.

Luis Roederer Champagne Rose is composed of approximately 63% Pinot Noir and 37%
Chardonnay, with 24% of the wine aged in oak barrels. After four years on the
lees, the cuvee matures for a further 6 months after degorgement to develop the
perfect balance and depth.



This careful ageing gives the champagne its exceptional complexity and elegance.
