The Francoli family distillery in Ghemme, Italy, has been in existence since
1875 and is one of the largest and most famous distilleries in Piedmont. It was
the first grappa distillery that had no impact on the environment and ensures a
neutral CO2 balance. The heat for the distillation process, for example, is
obtained from vegetable fuels. The company has also participated in the project
"Impatto Zero", they have achieved a protected area of 340,000 square meters in
Costa Rica's forests.

Francoli Distillery uses Chardonnay marc from their home region of Piedmont in
Italy to distill this premium grappa. The pomace is gradually fermented and the
fructose in the pressed grapes begins to dissolve. This grappa is the result of
years of experience and tradition of the distillery.
