The Mars Shinshu Distillery, founded in 1985 in the Japanese Alps of Nagano, is
Japan's highest whisky distillery. At an altitude of 798 meters, it benefits
from a cool climate and pure spring water from Mount Komagatake - ideal

Mars Komagatake Single Malt Limited Edition 2019 is part of an annual limited
series of exquisite Mars whiskies. It is distilled at the renowned Shinshu
Distillery in Miyada and impresses with its maturation in selected bourbon
casks. This maturation is complemented by an unspecified but carefully curated
selection of other casks, which give the whisky its remarkable complexity and
depth.
