Nomad Outland Whisky Sherry Cask Finish is a unique and distinctive blended
whisky that combines the know-how of Scotch whisky making with the influence of
the famous sherry casks of Jerez. It is produced by a Spanish whisky producer
called Destilerias y Crianza del Whisky (DYC) in collaboration with the Scottish
company Whyte & Mackay.Nomad Outland Whisky begins its journey in Scotland,
where a selection of Highland single malt and grain whiskies are carefully
chosen. These whiskies are then transported to Jerez, a city in southern Spain
known for its sherry production. In Jerez, the whiskies are blended and then
aged in traditional sherry casks for an extended period of time. The sherry casks
used for aging are flavored with Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherries, which give
the whisky unique flavors and aromas. After the maturation period, the whiskey
is brought back to Scotland, where it is finished and bottled at the Whyte &
Mackay distillery.
