Casa Paladin, an established winery in Veneto, specifically in the DOCG area of
Valpolicella, was founded in the 1960s by Carlo Paladin. The winery's philosophy
is to combine traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques in order to
emphasize the characteristics of the regional terroir in its wines. It combines
traditional methods with the latest technology to ensure the consistent quality
of its products.

Valentino Paladin and his son Carlo first produced the wine Salbanello, named
after a Venetian elf, in 2000. This wine, which is made from the Malbec and
Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, has established itself as a favorite in
Europe in recent years. Salbanello is characterized by the combination of the
supple Malbech grape with the structural strength of Cabernet, making it a
balanced wine, suitable for everyday enjoyment and a variety of occasions.
