Prunotto is a renowned Piedmontese winery with a long tradition of winemaking.
It was founded in 1904 and has earned a reputation for producing high-quality
wines that express the unique characteristics of the region.

Prunotto Barbaresco DOCG is a highly regarded Italian wine produced in the
Barbaresco region of Piedmont, Italy. This region is one of the most prestigious
wine-growing areas in Italy and is particularly well known for its first-class
red wines made from the Nebbiolo grape. The wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo
grapes from the Piedmont region.



During production, the wine undergoes a careful vinification process that
includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks and subsequent ageing in large
oak barrels for at least two years. During this ageing period, the wine develops
its complexity, softening and integrating its aromas and tannins. Once the
ageing process is complete, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
