Rudolf Jelinek is a well-known name in the world of spirits and distilleries. He
was a Czech entrepreneur and the founder of the Jelinek distillery, which has
gained international recognition for the production of high-quality spirits,
especially fruit brandies. Inspired by his family's heritage, Jelinek decided to
continue the legacy and founded his own distillery in the town of Vizovice in
1967. Today, the distillery is famous for its excellent products and innovative
approach to the traditional art of distillation.

Slivovice is the best-known Czech fruit brandy and is made from high-quality
plum mash. This mash undergoes a careful three-stage distillation process, which
gives the brandy its exceptional purity and smoothness. The plum stones remain
in the mash throughout the distillation process, giving the fruit brandy a soft,
rounded fruit flavor with pleasant, subtle undertones.



R. Jelinek Slivovice Gold Plum Brandy impresses with its cognac-like aroma and
harmonious fruit flavor with a distinctive woody note. This brandy was created
in 1923 from the collaboration between the Jelinek brothers and the French
cognac producer Denis Mounie. Mounie's experience in the production of aged wine
distillates made it possible to develop a process that brought the traditional
fruit brandy to the level of the world-famous cognac.
