Rudolf Jelinek is a well-known name in the world of spirits and distilleries. He
was a Czech entrepreneur and the founder of the Jelinek distillery, which has
gained international recognition for the production of high-quality spirits,
especially fruit brandies. Inspired by his family's heritage, Jelinek decided to
continue the legacy and founded his own distillery in the town of Vizovice in
1967. Today, the distillery is famous for its excellent products and innovative
approach to the traditional art of distillation.

Slivovice is the best-known Czech fruit brandy, made from first-class plum mash.
The mash is processed in a three-stage distillation process, which gives the
brandy its purity and smoothness. The plum stones remain in the mash and
contribute to a soft, rounded fruit flavor with pleasant undertones. After
distillation, the drink matures in tanks, where it is stored at different
temperatures and regularly checked and evaluated by experienced distillers from
Vizovice.
