The history of Remedy Spiced Rum begins in the 1920s in the USA. In an era
marked by prosperity, wild and excessive parties, but also by prohibition.From
1920 - 1933 a nationwide ban on the production, transport and sale of alcohol
was in force in the USA.

But to resist the appeal of the forbidden is anything but easy...



Every opportunity was taken to get hold of alcoholic beverages.

Among other things, illegally smuggled alcohol was sold under medical pretexts
in pharmacies and drugstores, creating a veritable black market for spirits.

From there Remedy Spiced Rum also found its way into secret bars and pubs as
well as into exclusive parties, where it captivated the guests.



Today, almost 100 years later, the fascination with this rum has been
rediscovered and so Remedy Spiced Rum is experiencing its renaissance.
