Ron Esclavo is a premium rum brand known for its high-quality and handcrafted
spirits. The brand was founded by Danish entrepreneur and rum enthusiast Henrik
Kristofferson, who fell in love with the Dominican Republic and its rum
traditions. The name Ron Esclavo means slave rum in Spanish, recalling the
historical connection between rum making and the history of slavery in the
Caribbean. The brand aims to honor and pay tribute to the legacy of those who
worked in the rum industry during that time. Ron Esclavo is dedicated to
producing rums of exceptional quality, using traditional production methods and
carefully selected ingredients. The finest sugar cane from the Dominican
Republic and a careful distillation and aging process are used to produce
spirits.

This rum is aged in American and French oak barrels. The second maturation takes
place for another 12 months in ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
