Scapegrace is a premium brand that originated in New Zealand. It was founded by
two friends, Mark Neal and Daniel McLaughlin, who shared a passion for gin,
whisky and vodka and wanted to create unique and exceptional spirits. The word
"Scapegrace" refers to a mischievous or reckless person and reflects the
adventurous and rebellious character of the brand.

Scapegrace releases a small number of rare limited edition single malts in
chronological order, creating a collection of individually numbered bottles that
will not exist a second time.



And so it begins, though in truth the beginning was years before - RISE.

"Nothing ever truly begins." There is no fixed beginning to anything, only a
continuous evolution with different actors and events occurring at different
times.

As is the case with the Limited Release RISE I, whose contents reach far back
into the past and bear the signature of Master Distillers, Doug Lawry and his
son Anthony.

This legacy matures for at least five years in new French oak barrels and
impresses with notes of cinnamon, cloves and creamy vanilla.
