The Scheiblhofer winery is a family business and cultivates around 104 hectares
of vines, making it one of the largest wineries in Burgenland. All the grapes
are processed on the estate and marketed in bottles. The municipality of Andau,
where the winery is located, is one of the municipalities with the most hours of
sunshine and creates ideal conditions for full-bodied wines thanks to its
mineral-rich gravel soil.The winery is not only well known for its Praedikat
wines, but also for its top red wines such as the outstanding "Big John". Johann
Scheiblhofer has won more than 300 gold medals at national awards, making him
the winner of the most awards in the country.



Scheiblhofer's The Peak of Glory is a cuvee made from the Zweigelt, Merlot and
Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, which are grown in the vineyards on red
gravel soils. This red wine matures for 12 months in new barriques and has the
potential to age until 2032. The bottle is sealed with a natural cork.
