The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona S.p.A. is located in the heart of
Piedmont, more precisely in Piobesi d'Alba, in the middle of the region where
some of the best Piedmontese wines originate. It is one of the oldest and most
traditional distilleries in Piedmont, which gives it a special place in Italian
distillery culture.
Due to this long tradition and its historical value, Sibona has the prestigious
"Licenza di Distillazione No. 1". This rare distilling license is only awarded
by the Italian tax authorities to distilleries that stand out due to their
exceptional history and consistent quality. The Distilleria Sibona thus embodies
not only artisanal excellence, but also the legacy of a centuries-old tradition
that is continued in the production of top products.
Grappa 8 Anni is an exceptional grappa produced from the distillation of pomace
from grapes used to produce Barolo wine. After an initial storage in steel
tanks, the grappa is aged for eight years in oak barrels and barriques. This
long aging gives it a particular softness and complexity, developing unique and
elegant aromas.
