This Macduff comes from the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage.
Andrew Symington, who founded the company in the late 1980s, has always
maintained close relationships with the distilleries and now owns an impressive
stock of over 10,000 casks. This particular bottling is part of the Signatory
100 Proof Edition, which is known for its high-proof, uncolored whiskies.
However, this series not only offers whiskies with a high alcohol content, but
also long-matured, affordable bottlings.

The Macduff 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from this series embodies the
rich heritage of the Highlands. Distilled in 2007 and matured for 16 years in
first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, this whisky offers a deep and nuanced taste
experience. The maturation in Oloroso sherry butts not only gives this single
malt an impressive depth, but also a complex variety of aromas.



As with all Exceptional Casks from Signatory Vintage, this whisky was bottled
without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants. This approach
preserves the authentic and natural quality of the whisky, allowing its
unadulterated character and pure aromas to come into their own.
