Whisky has been successfully distilled in Neuhaus am Schliersee, just outside
Munich in the Upper Bavarian Alps, since 2007. The Slyrs distillery, whose name
means "Schliersee" in old Bavarian, launched its first 12-year-old Slyrs whisky
on the market in 2015 and has been setting new standards in whisky production
ever since. Always striving to break new ground, Slyrs experiments with
different aspects of whisky production to further develop its unique character.

In 2021, Slyrs separated from Lantenhammer and realigned its distribution
strategy to position the brand even more strongly. With the "Slyrs Bavarian
Malt", the distillery is now presenting its first "blend". This is based on the
well-known Slyrs single malt, which has been blended with whiskies from at least
one other, unspecified distillery.



The "Slyrs Bavarian Malt" marks an exciting new step in the history of Slyrs and
underlines the innovative strength of the Bavarian distillery.
