malt whisky producers in Germany. The name of the Slyrs distillery is derived
from Schliersee and a monastery in Bavaria.The barley used comes from the north
of Bavaria. In 2014, a warehouse was built in the Bavarian mountains - here the
whisky is allowed to mature for 3 to 6 years in the Bavarian mountain climate.
The special thing about this single malt is its finish in a rum cask.
