Stauning Smoke Danish Whisky is created through a special combination of fresh
malt, which is smoked together with smoky peat and heather from the moorlands of
Denmark. This traditional method ensures that the whisky develops exceptional,
typically Danish aromas that clearly stand out from other whiskies. The smoky
character is intensified by the use of local raw materials, which gives the
whisky its distinctive character.

Maturation takes place in carefully selected first fill makers mark casks, with
an extensive supply of air during the entire process to ensure optimum aroma
development. The result is a whisky that not only impresses with its strong
smoky notes, but also offers a harmonious balance of taste and structure that
reflects the character of Danish nature.
