On the rugged coast of the unique Isle of Skye lies south of Dunvagan directly
on the shore of a bay as if conjured up, the snow-white small distillery
Talisker. Two brothers founded the distillery in 1831, and after their deaths
numerous others took over the attempt to continue the distillery. All failed
until a financial manager and a wine and spirits merchant succeeded in taking
over. Talisker was triple distilled until 1928, then only double. After a fire
in 1960, the distillery was rebuilt true to the original; today Talisker belongs
to the Diageo spirits group.

The mission of Talisker Distillery is to save the nature of the seas so that
marine ecosystems can thrive in a natural way. Since 2020, the distillery has
partnered with the non-profit environmental organization PARLEY FOR THE OCEANS
with the goal of protecting and restoring 100 million square feet of natural
marine space. Talisker x Parley Wilder Seas represents a commitment to invest in
the preservation of the underwater world and so â¬3 per bottle produced will be
used for this purpose. The production of the bottles of Wilder Seas bottling is
done with bio-diesel and the bottles themselves are made of 100% recycled glass.



This limited bottling is the first to receive its finish in oak casks formerly
used to store XO Cognac. Delicate sea salt and soft plum and raisin notes
reflect the irrepressible power of the sea in the taste.
