he called "The Grouse Brand" with the expectation that many hunters would stop
in Perth during the hunting season. His daughter designed the matching label
with the Scottish national bird. The whisky immediately sold so well that within
just a few years the name was added to "The Famous" and the term "brand" was
simply omitted. And that is how the popular whisky is called to this day: The
