Master Distiller Billy Walker from GlenAllachie devotes a great deal of his time
to carefully examining the more than 40,000 barrels in the distillery's
warehouses. This demanding and time-consuming work requires not only in-depth
expertise, but also great dedication - but it pays off, as his efforts are
rewarded with outstanding results.

The whisky is matured for 10 years in a carefully selected combination of ex
Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, as well as Virgin Oak casks and wine
casks previously filled with Rioja. This varied maturation gives it an
impressive depth and complexity that makes the character of the whisky
exceptional and unmistakable.
