The entire range of The Irishman brand is produced at the Walsh Whiskey
Distillery. The family business was founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary
Walsh. With a background of time-honored recipes from Ireland's whiskey
distilling era, they strive to revive the recognition of these Irish whiskeys.
Each bottle of the brand is numbered, marked with the year of bottling, as well
as adorned with the signature of Bernard Walsh.
The Irishman Cask Strength Exclusive Release 2023 is the 15th annual release
since this product line was introduced in 2008, when the whiskeys were triple
distilled, aged in Irish whiskey casks and released for more than half a
century. This limited edition Irishman 2023 is a superb blend of triple
distilled aged single malt and aged single pot still whiskey. The ex-bourbon
American oak casks used for aging were handpicked by founder Bernard Walsh. This
release series edition is an extremely strong, complex and inviting bottling.
The whiskey is bottled without chill filtration and at cask strength.
